This privacy notice explains how My School Kitchen collects, uses, and protects your information when you log in and use the platform. This service is provided by your teacher (Ms Faulkner) to support your Food Technology and Hospitality & Catering studies.
Information We Collect
- Account details: your name and email address, used to create your login.
- Profile information: your class group (e.g. 10A, 10B, 11C or 11D) and a chosen avatar.
- Activity data: quiz and worksheet results, scores, badges earned, and time spent on the platform.
How We Use Your Information
- To track your learning progress and show you your results and badges.
- To display class leaderboards and quiz battle scores (using your first name and avatar).
- To help your teacher understand how the class is doing and provide support.
- To keep the platform working and secure.
Who Can See Your Information
Your teacher (the account administrator) can view your name, email, class group, and activity data to support your learning. Other students can only see your display name, avatar, and scores on leaderboards and in quiz battles. Your email address is never shown to other students.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on the platform's servers. Access is protected by your login and is limited to you and the account administrator. We do not share your information with third parties or use it for advertising.
Your Rights
You can ask your teacher to show you the information held about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete your account and its data at any time. If you have any questions about your data, speak to your teacher in the first instance.
Logging In
By logging in, you agree to your name, email, and activity data being used as described in this notice. You can log out at any time, and your teacher can remove your account on request.
